I hate to admit that this image nearly perfectly details Mike & I's relationship, although we are growing more and more alike every day. In fact, Mike and I met in an environment that was stepping out of the box for both of us. We continued to participate in this activity because, well, that was who and where we met and so assumed the other enjoyed that environment. We were accommodating what we thought the other enjoyed. It wasn't until we shared with each other that we were rather annoyed by the scenario that we both realized how much we really enjoyed each other.

This has continued to prove true through the years. People, places, activity, food, but more than anything principles that we both have passion about - or feel we need to protect the other from - are what has drawn the two of us together.

This second image also reminds me of Mike and I's relationship to a degree, that this advice column could have been written by Mike. He is practical, and lacks any drama. In fact, he avoids it like the plague. He's good for me in that way.
